One-on-One Acting Coaching
A space to explore, take risks, and free the actor within.
As a teaching artist and practicing artist, I approach acting as both a craft to be developed and a deeply personal process of exploration. My one-on-one coaching sessions offer individualized guidance for actors looking to strengthen their technique, deepen their relationship to the text, and develop greater freedom and authenticity in their work.
Drawing from my background in Meisner, Stanislavski, the American Method as taught through the Group Theatre tradition, and selected elements of Grotowski's practice, my work emphasizes the relationship between craft, imagination, and the actor's psycho-emotional life.
Sessions may focus on monologue preparation, character development, scene work, script analysis, or specific elements of acting craft. Together, we investigate the tools that bring a performance to life, approaching the work with curiosity, rigor, and a willingness to take creative risks.
Having taught children, beginning and professional actors through several theater companies across the United States, I bring an adaptable, student-centered approach to my teaching. I believe that meaningful artistic work requires an environment where actors feel safe enough to question, experiment, fail, and discover.
My goal is not to impose a particular way of performing, but to help each actor develop a stronger relationship with their craft, access their creative instincts, and cultivate the freedom to make bold, personal, and truthful choices.
